Our home care services can enrich the lives of your loved ones as they retain the enjoyment and security of living at home. Circle of Care, St. Louis can help you plan a diverse set of care, chores, transportation and even social companionship services. These offerings are provided by our skilled and caring professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that elders and disabled adults receive help in a dignified and caring way. Homemaker program is available to all persons covered under the Aged and Disabled Waiver Program or as private pay. A Homemaker may be utilized in providing routine household chores such as:

  • Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, etc.) 

  • Laundry

  • Preparation and planning meals that addresses ethnic and dietary needs

  • Shopping/errands

  • Transportation arrangements

  • Social support

Homemakers may also be responsible for more significant housekeeping and personal cares (ADLs) based on the authorization from the Aged and Disabled Waiver Case worker.



Our chore program gives support and assistance to keep and maintain a safe, clean and sanitary home. Chore services may include heavier household chores, such as washing floors, walls and windows. Lawn cutting, snow removal, shoveling and basic indoor and outdoor home maintenance can also be utilized in the chore program which is important to St. Louis and Cape Girardeau elders.



We understand that as a caregiver, caring for a loved one can be stressful. Circle of Care, St. Louis’s respite care program provides planned short-term and time-limited breaks for caregivers. Respite care offers you time to take care of yourself: visit a friend for lunch, attend religious or community event, run errands, or go an appointment. Our health care professionals will provide light housecleaning, care, and companionship while you’re away. 


Companion Care

Circle of Care, St. Louis companion care service provides non-medical, personal company and friendship to adults with an approach that is culturally sensitive to the unique ethnic and linguistic needs elderly and disabled persons in St. Louis and Cape Girardeau. Companion care keeps your loved one socially engaged by playing games, reading books, going for walks and gardening. The primary focus of companion care is to keep your loved one socially engaged, happy and comfortable.
