Elderly and Disabled Adult Victim Services

If you have experienced abuse by a family member, intimate partner, or spouse, you are not alone.  This program provides help to men and women age 50 and older living in communities throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area or southeast Missouri who are victims of domestic violence.


We offer:

  • Support, education, and advocacy

  • One-on-one confidential counseling

  • Group and family counseling

  • Advocacy 

  • Assistance and support for financial exploitation

  • Multilingual advocates 

  • Links to many other services from Circle of Care, St. Louis and its partner agencies, to help you live safely and independently within the community

  • Safe, short-term emergency shelter

Other things we do include:

  • Providing in-home support services

  • Arranging translation services if a victim is uncomfortable speaking English

  • Providing outreach into the community to help prevent or end domestic violence among older adults and particularly women

  • Providing education for health professionals, the police, and counselors to help them identify older victims of abuse and provide referrals.
